I bought this CD sight unseen because most of the players are on "Phalanx Ambassadors" which is a big favorite for it's precision and free-floating rhythmic aggression courtesy of Gentile and Cass. However I hate random electronic beeps and approximation of dogshit, so off to the used bookstore goes this one. What context would one have to find to enjoy this?
