Nebbia, Litto - El Vendedor De Promesas

SKU 13-VIAJEROINMOVIL004
"Litto Nebbia is an Argentinian musician with a long a storied history. He was originally a member of Los Gatos, an early beat/pop group as well as a member of Huinca. He has been responsible for about a slew of releases and I understand he's still going. El Vendedor De Promesas" was recorded during his prog phase in 1977. Encompassing elements similar to Italian progressive rock bands like Formula 3 and Le Orme as well as the German band SFF, this conceptual work has a jazzy feel that emphasizes Nebbia's deft synth work. Essentially based around a configuration of keyboards, bass and drums, the album features long instrumental passages where Nebbia and the rest of the band stretch out. At times his Moog solos remind me of Eddie Jobson in his Frank Zappa days. The CD comes with three bonus tracks. I've had this obscurity nestled in my collection for years and years and it's a pleasure to have this fine limited edition release appear. Props to Viajero Inmovil for have the foresight to re-release this."-Ken Golden
