Schulze, Klaus - X (expanded) 2 x CDs

SKU 21-MIG 01632
Klaus' 10th album, remastered from the original tapes and including a largely expanded version of Georg Trakl (over 26' instead of 6') as well as a 21' bonus track). In other words, this is 160 minutes of prime, prime Klaus from 1978, which can be considered the culmination of his prime period works.
Klaus Schulze (Big Moog, PPG Synthesizer & Sequencer, Minimoogs, ARP Odyssey, Korg Poly Synthi, Polymoog, EMS Synthi A, Mellotron, Tom Toms on “Friedemann Bach”, Tom Toms and a cymbal on “Heinrich von Kleist”), Harald Grosskopf (drum kit), Wolfgang Tiepold (Cello on "Heinrich von Kleist"), B. Dragic (solo violin on "Friedemann Bach") A small string orchestra from the "Orchester des Hessischen Rundfunks" (8 violins, 3 violas, 3 cellos, one contrabass) conducted by Wolfgang Tiepold (on "Ludwig II").
On the bonus track: A large string orchestra of young Belgium musicians, conducted by Wolfgang Tiepold. A great, great work.
