There's this thing that Uz Jsme Doma like to do called "Czech Music on the Road". What that means is that they like tour with other, usually (much) lesser known Czech acts in countries outside of eastern Europe, to expose the public to the music of the Czech Republic. In December, 2008, UJD and 3 other acts (including the legendary MCH Band and doubly legendary experimental percussionist Pavel) toured Japan for 10 days. This DVD is actually two DVDs in one. There is a 40' documentary film with English subtitles about the tour and the idea of Czech Music on the Road in Japan; what the musicians we thinking and feeling during this tour and was the Japanese reaction to these musicians. More importantly for most of the people we hope to sell this to, there is two hours of live footage, recorded live in Tokyo, including a great UJD set (but they are always great, aren't they?).
