The latest (2012) from this fine French pianist/composer who has released albums that are both 'jazz' and 'jazz/rock' finds him squarely in the 'jazz' category with this one. He's leading a quartet of sax + rhythm and his usual tuneful playfulness is intact and he does touch on his Rhodes, organ and keyboards, but the focus is on acoustic piano. This is another just stunning album.
