This album has some of Fela's most politicized lyrics and it also has a weird history, as it was released in several forms. This has 3 songs produced by Bill Laswell when he was hired by the label to 'popularize' Fela's sound and some typical 80s hired hands that Bill used appear here (Bernie Worrell, Aiyb Dieng, Sly Dunbar). Also included are two additional versions of songs that were not remixed/produced.
