Very good electric jazz work from this until now unknown player.
"Ossi Maristo is a thirtysomething guitar player living in Helsinki, Finland. Being born into a family of music lovers naturally led him to taking up piano studies at the age of nine and eventually the guitar at twelve. The teenage years were spent vigorously playing just about anything with a band of friends, and more than once skipping school to spend some quality time with the guitar. By the time high school and military service were over it seemed quite clear that the only road calling was to apply to a music school and work towards a career as a professional musician.
In 2010 Maristo was accepted to study music technology at the Helsinki Pop&Jazz Conservatory, and a year later to study performance at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Rumour has it that he also graduated from the latter ten years later....Now after a decade of all-around sessions, TV-shows and performances with loads of bands and artists the time is finally ripe to release original music."
