"Meretrio is a Brazilian power trio of guitar, bass and drums from Brasil. They decided to use the form of the power trio to explore jazz with influences of samba and bossa nova, among other influences.
On this one, they collaborate with a brass group. In this work they are focused in bringing a composition to each one of the musicians, so each can shine on their own ground. So, every track has a different slant and different soloist, going from klezmer, to chorinho, funk, jazz, experimental, rock, etc, and adding at the top of it all, some Brazilian rhythms."-Dr UTH Rocks
