Madovsky is Franck Chionna on bass, samples and percussion with drums & percussion by Emmanuel Charmot. Franck is a Frenchman now living in Montreal and I was turned onto his work by Richard Pinhas, who heard his material when Richard was appearing in Montreal in the summer of 2004. While it isn't a dead ringer for Heldon, I can understand why Richard liked it and felt an affinity to it once I heard it. Interesting, unique, modern-sounding drums and bass-heavy progressive music.
