However, The Divide is their first collaboration as co-writers on a completely original project.

This is a very good CD. The influence of Peter Gabriel's "softer" solo work seems to me to be quite evident in some of the vocals (phrasing and timbre). The music also sometimes, but certainly not always, brings to mind Peter Gabriel's albums around the "So" era. Recommended to fans of subtle, even understated, prog. Maybe a little like Magic Pie or Izz (as I recall them without having heard them in a while).
