“Have to say that due to the fact that I've never been much of a fan of Clearlight, this CD definitely turned out to be better (in my humble opinion) that what I was expecting. Very much in the vein of '70's progressive rock. tracks here that managed to take me (a bit) by surprise were the eight-minute soundscape "The Birth Of Belief" (very nice, actually), "Coffee For Coltrane" (is Gong-like in the beginning), "Mrs. Nooness", the thirteen-minute well-played epic "Fuel For The Gods", the somewhat innovative "Black Squirrel At The Root Of The Staircase" and "Roadmaps (The Other Way)".
