18-GOD 052
A progressive rock band with symphonic touches from Karlsruhe, Germany, featuring vocals, guitar, organ/electric piano/synths, bass & drums. This was recorded in 1975, & this this reissue includes 8 bonus tracks, including some funny covers of late 60's/early 70's classic rock songs!
"Poseidon, originating from Prussic Acid, were, at the time, by far the best and most famous group in Karlsruhe. Dominant keyboards and perfectly played progressive rock made them a name, both in south-west Germany and abroad. Their only LP "Found my way" of 1975 was a private pressing of 1000 copies and features exclusively self-written material and a great cover artwork. This CD contains eight unreleased live bonus tracks. The 32-page colour booklet describes the band’s history in detail and features many photographs of the group. Many people might know guitarist Wilfried Sahm, who came from and later re-joined Checkpoint Charlie, a band whose style, however, did not find any reflection in Poseidon’s music. Overall, a typical example of German progressive rock of the mid-1970s."
