Excellent new instrumental fusion release on F.E.S./Laser's Edge. On this live album, Woodenhead combine their usual quartet lineup of keyboards, guitar, bass and drums with a very special addition: The Trombones From Hell, a 3-piece trombone section who add warmth and some great lines to the proceedings. The band's music here is a very attractive blending of Hot Rats-style Zappa with Dixie Dregs/Mahavishnu Orchestra style fusion.
