Third great release from this incredible band who are very thought-provoking and very groove-laden, while also being very OUT!
Musically, they continue their game between improvisation and structures. They are quite different from the rest of the new free jazz groups and groove-influenced groups. Echoes of Haitian music and African influences as well. Radical and radically different!
They are all fantastic players, and, having seen them twice, I can also say that they are AMAZING live and Camae is a inspired and really great spoken word artist. Recommended.
