Trephine are a Baltimore based metal/prog/punk/math band who use a guitar/bass/drums/found object percussion lineup to beat all listeners into submission. They've been around for a few years now and I saw them several years ago, and they were quite fun then and they are still fun, although they've definitely gotten heavier over the years. They are one of several very good, very heavy bands carving out a unique post metal/prog sound in the Baltimore area, and one of the good things about this is that you can control the volume yourself, unlike seeing them in concert!
