Locanda Delle Fate - The Missing Fireflies

Locanda were one of the greatest of the 'one and done' Italian progressive/symphonic rock bands of the 1970s. They released their one album, Forse Le Lucciole Non Si Amano Pui, in 1977 when the progressive scene there was all but dead. They are considered the last hurrah for the great Italian music scene. The release of The Missing Fireflies… and others by Locanda delle Fate is undoubtedly a significant event for the progressive scene, as it consists of music that was in their repertoire at the time of their one album, but that the band never had a chance to record as they didn't fit onto the time restrictions of their vinyl release. Here the reformed band have recorded these tracks and have also included other live tracks from a 1977 concert.
