Following on the heels of 2015's captivating Inflamed Rides, the members of the powerful collective O.R.k. - lead singer Lorenzo Esposito Fornasari, Porcupine Tree bassist Colin Edwin, Marta Sui Tubi guitarist Carmelo Pipitone and King Crimson drummer Pat Mastelotto - were primed to deliver an even more potent statement for their sophomore offering.
Coming off of a triumphant tour of Europe and South America, they were charged to take things up a notch. And so it was with Soul of an...

Limited edition of only 500 made. The fantasy artwork of the cover of this was made for vinyl!

Greatly awaited second album from this offshoot/heir to the Happy The Man crown. The band is now a four piece, with Stan Whittaker's guitar and vocals...

"Born as Pow-Pow and coming from the town of Biella (Piedmont, Italy), the band then changed their name in Odissea in 1972; the same year, even before releasing an official album, they luckily opened for Genesis, Banco del Mutuo Soccorso and Rockys...

"One of 2016's strangest, most hypnotic and charming albums of experimental synth-electronic music was volume 1 from Off World, about which Boomkat said "a stellar new project headed by Sandro Perri, one of the most singular producers in contemporary music; featuring some of the most inventive, spellbinding work in his catalogue. One of the most original and satisfying albums we've heard this year - can't wait to see what the next installments bring." This is the next installment, fittingly titled 2...

A beautiful illustration deserves a deluxe treatment and that's certainly what you get with this beautiful double lp, gatefold version of this 'lost for 20 years' album...

Originally released on the AYAA label, this has been out of print for many, many, many years (one many for each decade). This is a perfect reproduction of the original, but better pressed this time!

"Officer! is either Mick Hobbs (The Work...)

"Lucky Kitchen was a legendary experimental sound publisher beginning in New York in the 1990's, drawing to a close in Barcelona in the mid 2000's. Lucky Kitchen has come back only for the purpose of producing the Presenca Series of 12" vinyl editions to highlight and preserve select recordings from the Serralves Foundation archive.

The experimental sound program running at Porto's Fundacao de Serralves is one of the most expansive and important in Europe. It was with great pleasure that the...

This is a vinyl-only release, by a Spanish quartet, which is released in a numbered, limited edition of only 500! Really great artwork by Galician artist Iria Rodriguez.

This is very much a psychedelic-progressive/retro-styled release. Knowing...

"Oneohtrix Point Never's Age Of is an album of new music from the renowned musician. It’s Daniel Lopatin’s most cohesive and richly composed work to date weaving a tapestry of disparate musical histories — early music, country and folk balladry, melodic pop, computer music and much, much more — demonstrating both the complexity and range of the artist's repertoire. With sounds that are unsettlingly familiar and uniquely his own Age Of guides us through an unclassifiable new world."

This one-sided album is a benefit release for The Stone, John Zorn's amazingly wonderful and open-minded performance space in NYC and is a limited edition of only 1,000 copies!

A wild improvisation by two masters, released on a beautiful etched..

Opeth started their life as a metal band, but they have always spoken very highly of progressive rock and, over the last few years, have flirted more and more closely with the genre.

Well, years of flirtation has finally led to an exclusive....

"Art pop collective The Opium Cartel return after their much-acclaimed debut with their sophomore effort "Ardor". Featuring a stellar cast including No-Man/Henry Fool's Tim Bowness and Stephen Bennett, White Willow/Änglagård drummer Mattias Olsson, as well as members of Wobbler, Jaga Jazzist and Pixel, not to mention two of Norway's foremost vocal talents; Venke Knutson and Alexander Stenerud. The project is helmed by White Willow guitarist/songwriter Jacob Holm-Lupo. While continuing the atmospheric...

Rare, one-off, 1970 album originally released on Bellaphon. "You have to really like the Hammond organ because with this recording you are going to get a lot of it. Jazzy fuzz organ with a lot of discordant tunes. The lead guitar is along for the...

Not only have we never offered this 1995 release before, but I had never heard of it / never knew it existed until this brand new vinyl reissue!
It's the 1995 version of Le Orme doing new (1995 new) versions of their classics; three songs each from Collage, Uomo di Pezza, two from Smogmagica and one each from Contrappunti and Verità Nascoste! Hand numbered edition of 999 copies!

"The new album entitled ClassicOrme is a reinterpretation with classical instruments of some of the most famous songs of Le Orme that best suit to the "new look". The artistic producer is Michi Dei Rossi assisted by Cristiano Roversi for the technical part, the executive producer Enrico Vesco.
The vocals, and this is the true characteristic of this album, will be led by Eero Lasorla (Finland) content and Marta Centurioni (Italy) the soprano; instrumental parts were entrusted to a string quintet....

"Collage, Le Orme's first progressive album and third overall, is a stripped-down affair with only organ, piano, bass and drums. The exception is the opening title track which could be considered the bridge between their psych and prog compositions...

Important: Sadly these have a top seam split. They aren't awful, but it's there and we can't pretend it isn't there! Caveat!!

Hand numbered edition of 600 copies!
In the mid 90s, after a 10 year silence, Le Orme came out of nowhere with a new line up (2 new keyboardists + bassist/guitarist/vocalist Aldo Tagliapietra & drummer Michi Dei Rossi) and a very fine reunion album, Il Fiume.
Elementi was their follow up to that one and it's another very good release in the Italian

Published in a beautiful gatefold sleeve that perfectly replicates the Famous Charisma original and is on translucent blue vinyl!

In the heyday of progressive rock, there was a concerted effort, especially with the Italian groups, to break them into the bigtime in the USA. The general perception was that to do that, they had to sing in English with English lyrics. Which led to - in my opinion - a lot of 'spaghetti English sung', somewhat inferior versions of really great classics of Italian....

After their 3 more commercially oriented releases, Orme took a breather, & came back with a surprise; they reinvented themselves as a basically acoustic quartet (vocals, violins, cellos, acoustic guitar, piano, percussion/drums) and came back with this excellent album.
I know some synth-crazy prog-heads don't share my opinion, but I love the low-key demeanor of this album, & this is one of my favorite of their works.

"One of the features that make certain rock truly 'progressive' is the...

The copies we received have a seam split at the top of jacket, otherwsie they are new and perfect.Limited edition red & black vinyl in a beautiful gatefold sleeve!

"Coinciding with the release of Contrappunti, Le Orme released their first live album titled In Concerto. The selections contained on this release are curious only by the omission of current material. 95 percent of all the chosen songs are from their raw jam days of Collage despite being performed almost three years later with three other

First-ever post 70s vinyl reissue, in the original, beautiful gatefold sleeve!
After their 3 more commercially oriented releases, Orme took a breather, & came back with a surprise, when they reinvented themselves as a basically acoustic quartet (vocals, violins, cellos, acoustic guitar, piano, percussion/drums) and came back with the excellent Florian album. This was the follow up to Florian and is equally good or better.
I know most hard-core prog-heads don't share my opinion, but I totally and...

Limited edition white and yellow vinyl in a beautiful gatefold sleeve! This was the album after In Concerto and before Verita Nascoste.

"Orne hails from Turku, Finland, and several members of the project are well known for their participation in the band Reverend Bizarre. Their influences are noted as VDGG, early Genesis, early Floyd, Black Widow, Black Sabbath, Saturnalia, and Wigwam amongst many others, though it should be pointed out that a good deal of the album is much mellower than some of the heavy/hard bands noted above. It has some heaviness but extended mellow sections as well. If you can imagine a mix of "Careful with that Axe...

Sourced from the original master tapes, this legit release of a underground, proto-prog, proto-Krautrock 1970 classic was originally released on Metronome.

"Like a few brave others (Electric Prunes, Spooky Tooth and Eela Craigmaybe the first...

"Osage Tribe were formed in 1971 by Franco Battiato, then working as pop singer, with his loyal drummer Cucciolo, guitarist Marco Zoccheddu who had just left Nuova Idea and bass guitarist Bob Callero...the remaining trio, based in Genova, a prolific...

"Finally the deluxe version of a classic, the debut of one of the greatest bands in the Italian prog field, Osanna from Naples. Formed in 1971 by the members of I Volti di Pietra and Citt Frontale their debut was L'uomo, released in a memorable triple...

"This film soundtrack was their second album. Most of the album contains prime Osanna, great guitar-led heavy progressive, quiet acoustic parts with beautiful mellotron or flute, etc. In addition they experiment with the use of orchestration in their music, which just as often works as it doesn't. Often it sounds like a juxtaposition of classical music and hard rock rather than the integration of both styles, but the low point of the album is definitely the cheesy pop ballad, that ends Milano Calibro 9....

"Palepoli begins with a pounding medieval drum, which turns out to be the messenger of great things to come. Flute and distant children's voices appear shortly. Next the full band is faded in, playing at full power in a heavy, up tempo, folk rock part...

Numbered edition of 999 copies.
"Forty years after the release of their second album titled "Preludio, Tema, Variazioni e Canzona" Osanna celebrate with the release of this new CD titled "Rosso Rock", recorded live in Japan at the Auditorium "City Club a" in Kawasaki on 6 and 7 November 2011 when Osanna performed for the first time with their new line up (Lino Vairetti guitar and vocals, Gennaro Barba on drums, Nello D'Anna on bass, Pako Capobianco on electric guitar, Sasa Prior on the piano, organ...

"Eclipse is the debut album of OSCILLOTRON. It includes 6 tracks of instrumental, electronic music made essentially with analog synthesizers. The intent behind the album...

"A prog/psych masterpiece by cult Arabian band Osiris, their 1982 debut album. A killer blend of '70s-sounding hard, progressive/psychedelic sounds with long, ripping Minimoog and analog synth attacks smashed into mellow vibes and Arabian folky touches, with hard lead guitar, exotic percussion, floating rhythm section, and English vocals. Osiris formed in Bahrain, the small island country in the Persian Gulf, in the late '70s, but its story goes back to 1969, when talented brothers Mohamed and Nabil...

This is quite excellent, somewhat abstract electronic music that is comparable to early Cluster ('71 and II), but, obviously, they are not using 45 year old equipment. Still, it has that feeling and sense of adventurous playfulness!

"The first full length release from Oto Hiax. Comprised of Mark Clifford (Seefeel) and Scott Gordon (Loops Haunt), Oto Hiax follows 2015's acclaimed EP, One. Embracing a series of sonic opposites, Oto Hiax employs electronic and concrete sound to construct a labyrinth..

This is an extraordinary vault-find. These approximately 40' long sessions have never been released before, not even bootlegged, and were not even known to exist.

"The Pop-Liisa and Jazz-Liisa broadcast session series presents previously unreleased and forgotten gems from the biggest names of Finnish prog and jazz of the 1970's
Never bootlegged and known up until now only to a few faithful servants (and largely thought to have been lost for ever), these sessions offer a hitherto unrivalled.

"Canadian rarity from 1968, recorded under the influence of hallucinogenic substances by a bunch of underground musicians: Michel Pagliaro, Tony Roman, Denis Lepage and Andy Shorter. The album consists of just one long freak-out jam divided in two sides..

"Our Solar System's third full-length via Beyond Beyond is Beyond is perhaps their most transparent and revealing, unobstructed by anything beyond the group's now-masterful commitment to eclipsing the expected. On "Origins," the music is at once rapturous, intense and mysterious. The opening half of Side A ("Vulkanen") offers an almost animal assessment of the power possessed by Our Solar System. With considerable ambience the opening suite finds its balance in a land with similar topographic features to...

Call is kosmische, call it a collective, call it sonic space exploration, unrestrained by gravity, led by Dungens Mattias Gustavsson with the assistance of some very talented friends call it whatever you want, but you can be sure the sounds of Our...
